Davis being black, is not an automatic disqualifier, it’s his democratic baggage that will have to be weighed against the republican’s baggage against what party will run the State House and Senate.

Are they State Department?

Power companies like Tallapoosa Electric make it easy. They offer a the "security" light for a set monthly fee which gives them a nice revenue stream.The only thing I see these lights doing is making it easier for sneak thieves to see to steal your stuff.
I had the one that was in the yard of Rabbit Run removed when we moved in. I wanted it dark, so I could see the thieves flashlights as they tried to find my stuff in the outbuildings. Plus it made it easier for me and the 12ga semi to sneak up on them.
Unfortunately, my neighbors pollute the night sky with multiple lights. I just wish they would keep it on their property and let me enjoy a dark sky

The only thing I would like to see, whether it be bingo, casino gambling or lottery is a means test to ensure that those who are gambling are not doing it with money that is provided or "freed up" by the taxpayer.
