After seeing some of the allegations of vote fraud

in the Democrat primary, mainly on the pro-Obama side, I figured I might want to issue my own warning for our area of the South.

Don’t get to frisky or the results will look like the ones from some of those banana republics.

I doubt that there will be much fraud the Republican side, there is just no enthusiasm for the McCain, the Republican nominee.

Now on the Obama/Democrat side?

Some will cite Florida despite the Democrat fraud in it’s own right.
Here in Alabama, vote fraud is a long time tradition. In a lot of cases, the only thing that has changed from the early to mid 1900’s is the color of the skin doing the fraud with the political party remaining pretty much the same.

In Russell County, Alabama‘s recent past, there has been Republican voter suppression in the Mother Mary area of Phenix City, a black dominated area. The Democrat Probate Judge did little beyond slapping the wrist of those involved.

How many of you remember the election where the poll workers at Mother Mary turned away Republican voters? Remember the quotes that I copied from the dead tree news?
The following are quotes from Mr. Howard (D), Probate Judge, reported to the Ledger-Enquirer, June 5, concerning Russell county recent election.
"I discovered they hadn't gotten the ballots out"
"They weren't running the polling place correctly"
"Not only were Republican ballots unavailable, Howard said, but workers had incorrectly recorded voter information."
"It was a mess."
"So this is a bad irritation for the judge of probate, but it probably has no real consequence for the results of the election."

That’s right. No big deal that attempts were made to suppress the Republican turnout because their vote wouldn’t have mattered anyway

The former head of the Phenix Citizen issued pleas for public spirted citizens to come forth and help put the spot light on voter irregularity in the south end of Phenix City and Russell County to no avail

--

It was sentencing day for Gosha, who was convicted of 25 felony and 12 misdemeanor voter fraud charges on Aug. 15, all in connection with the Sept. 4, 2001, Phenix City election in which Gosha was a council candidate. The convictions include 16 counts of possessing forged documents, nine counts of falsifying absentee ballots and 12 counts of disclosing the votes of others.

And there was this, when I wondered that if there were 15 complaints from people being solicited to sign a blank application for absentee voting then you (Russell County DA) would want to know who is soliciting the crime.

Or we can take a look around the Democrat run State of Alabama

"She said there's been an "I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine" attitude to the dealings among county officials as long as she's been here." (bribes Centre, Ala.)

Selma-Times 2002
"Brown said she and her advisers had also uncovered evidence of other voting irregularities -- including missing voter lists, election boxes that had been illegally opened between the polling place and the sheriff's office, and even some indications that voter lists contained the names of dead people."

Most of you would think that I wouldn’t like the idea of foreign observers watching our elections like some kinda watchdog. Well, you would have been right till I got my knee out of my eye and remembered some of the going’s on here in one of the staunchest Democrat strongholds in Alabama.... the Phenix City, Russell County area. Right next door to one of the strongest Democrat strongholds in Georgia.... Columbus.
Maybe we do need poll watchers
